Energy Tips With David Chernushenko

by: David Chernushenko

Finding ways to live well using less energy has never made more sense. You spend less on electricity and home heating/cooling. You cut your emissions of greenhouse gases and other harmful pollutants. You help create clean and rewarding jobs for local home insulators and the retailers and manufacturers of energy-efficient equipment and appliances. And you can smile instead of cringe whenever fuel prices go up.

David Chernushenko (Green Party deputy leader and Ottawa Centre candidate) is one Canadian who has made it a personal mission to chip away at the amount of energy he and his family consume in their Ottawa home. He also believes in sharing what he has learned with as many Canadians as possible. Owners, tenants, landlords businesses? We all consume energy, and we all benefit from cutting waste and improving efficiency. As we move into the coldest and darkest time of the year, David is offering some free energy advice to help you take the bite out of winter.
