An Electoral District is a geographical area represented by a member of the House of Commons, often called a riding or constituency. There are 308 federal electoral districts in Canada. Seven of those are in Newfoundland.
Those numbers can be very humbling, and at times frustrating that ones voice may not be heard because they are a part of a minority. But the country we live in provides many different ways in which to get our individual points across; one of which is joining your Electoral District Association.
An Electoral District Association is a group of concerned citizens who do not like to sit idly by and let things happen, they make things happen.

The Green Party of Newfoundland and Labrador is planning a province wide information session for the Electoral District Associations, in each Electoral District. We are calling for anyone interested in letting their voice be heard join their local
Association.
Some areas may not have a Registered Electoral District Association yet, which provides an excellent opportunity to contact your Green Party Member and start making your voice be heard.
